picMy kniting bag
picCirca 2004, it seemed the whole office was knitting -- so I went over to the photocopier and duplicated the pattern and off I went. Three years later, I sewed together this sweater!
picOriginally conceived for Jack, this sweater is still waiting for a home

picMitre Square. 8 inch by 8 inch for charity square project. man-made yarn -- except for the yellow stripes -- which is perhaps wool blend. CO 74 stitches. Pattern of rows is *Perl, knit, knit, knit*. and Pattern of decreases is *row1, row3*. You decrease on WS. This produces a ridge pattern. Colour is worked for 2 rows.

picPrayer Shawl. First one knit during fall of 2012. Belle Valley wool, (4 skeins). CO 69 stitches. Pattern is *K3, P3* FOREVER. I didn't put a fringe on it -- it's for a man
picBeautiful and expensive pre-beaded yarn. The plan is to rip this out and use one of Janette's patterns.
picHat for my nephew, Kristian. Black Wool is from "Shall we knit" a store in Waterloo. Red yarn is from wool store in Guelph.
picHairband originally conceived for Sarah, partner of Kristian -- so I used leftover yarn from his hat to make this BUT the bindoff was too loose so I'll try again using the charcoal wool I orininally thought would do for his hat until I thought it over and knew I had to go with Real Black
picStack-o-Hats (most ready for their liners)

picApril 2016 finally sewed the seams on this baby -- my baby -- yes finally knit a sweater for myself, (first attempt doesn't count). As the picture says -- Belle Valley 2 ply, (a fire at the factory guarantees exclusivity). 2x2 cuffs and collar. knit-perl detailing on arms. Collar is a bit too stiff but hey -- didn't I plan that?!
