picSantiago Airport, (2 day layover). Right after this photo was taken, I found the bus station -- but didn't know how to buy a ticket to Valparaiso. Luckily I asked a nice woman to help me and she found a nice man who was also going to Valparaiso. We ended up talking quite a bit and he led me right to my hostel.

picand then this! I actually got turned around on the trail while taking a break at a river. I only found out about 30 minutes later when I recognized a sign. By this point my boots and socks were soaked and I just kept going back to town.
