Butter Tarts.
Classic Recipe stolen from a major Northern Hemisphere publication. When you perfect your pastry and make tarts like these, people will come up to you and try to kiss you.
Do not be alarmed. This is normal
Ingredients:
double batch of pastry, (2 disks)
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Maple Syrup, (or a mixture of corn syrup and Maple Syrup)
1/3 Cup Melted butter
2 eggs
1 Tablespoon Cider Vinegar
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
Prep:
fill tart shells two thirds full and bake in 375 degree oven for 27 minutes.
